I am pleased to offer this end of week review of my time here in New Orleans, LA at the National WWII Museum. Highlights include spending time here with colleagues, seeing WWII materials, sitting for hours at a time embracing Dr. Don Miller, eating massive amounts of food - including FROG LEGS for the first time, and enjoying talking with veterans and locals. A gospel music conference was just down the block, African - American population is greater than 60% of the citizens, Bourbon Street has a distinct odor and "sense" to it, the Louis B. Armstrong "Sachmo Music Festival begins today. Great place to visit. Locals love the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints! | |
