Assignment: Modify Standards in Relation to Global Education
Standards taken from Spokane Public Schools (SPS) curriculum guide based on Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) for the State of Washington. The standard as written is in black. The way I could integrate a greater global perspective is added and included in purple and italics.

Lesson Plan: inclusion of Aboriginies rights in Australia when presenting Native American topics here in the Pacific Northwest
Summative Assessment: Create t-chart poster board relating the Antarctic Treaty (1959) and Protocol on Environmental Protection (1991)
