When people have asked about this trip, one of the follow-up questions often offered after "how was Russia?," is "how was the food?" We were treated wonderfully in Moscow with the guidance of the IREX staff. They selected meals at the restaurant March serving Georgian foodstuff, Cafe Mumu for fun, simple "point and pick" lunch selections, Cafe Grillage for a nice dinner together, and Old Tower Restaurant offering a wonderful meal as our group reunited after the week in the "provinces." | |
The schools we visited, U.S. Embassy in Moscow, markets, grociers, parsonage, BBQ, the train, cafes, and our host Yaroslava S. contributed to this post with their wares. So many of these food pictures capture the abundant gracious hospitality of those that cared for me during my trip. Thank you.
